Meet the speaker: April Lovelace

Redeeming Broken Places

April began her counseling career in working with children, teenagers, adults, and families in a ministry setting as a chaplain in the local hospital. A survivor of childhood cancer, April has a deep desire to come alongside children, teenagers, adults, and families when crisis or trauma interrupts one’s life journey. She received a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2017, and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina. Daily she continues to work with children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families as they face the rippling effects of life circumstances from the initial disruption to walking in freedom in Christ. When she is not doing what she loves at Cornerstone Counseling & Wellness, April enjoys cooking, crafting, research and writing, spending time with family and friends, and serving at church.
