Spiritual Growth

Sunday School:

Youth Sunday School meets from 9:45 – 10:45am each week in the youth department. All youth meet at 9:45am in the Youth Room for announcements and prayer before separating by grade for their “KNOWN” lesson.

Cross – Trainers:

Cross – trainers is designed to be a small group, discipleship, accountability group time for the youth. In these small groups we discuss relevant topics aiming to help the students dig deeper into God’s word and stimulate growth in their relationship with Christ.

Bible Study:

Bible Study takes place on Wednesday nights. All youth guys meet outside at the picnic shelter, while the girls meet in the senior Sunday School room. We go through a book of the Bible, verse by verse. The goal of our Bible Study time is not just to know what the Biblical passages are saying, but to teach the students how to study the Bible on their own.

Refuge:

Definition –
1) Shelter or protection from danger or distress; 2) a place that provides shelter or protection; 3) something to which one has recourse in difficulty

Refuge is our youth worship service. It is a time set aside for spiritual refuge for students. It is designed to be a fun and safe environment for all students, from non-believers to mature Christians. In each Refuge Service we have a time of fellowship, worship, and Biblical teaching.

VBS:

Each summer our church hosts a Vacation Bible School for kids and youth. During the day our youth are encouraged to assist adults and help lead the kids VBS. During the evening we have VBS for the youth.
